Being Eva and Daniel's mom is awesome - They are what I never knew I always wanted (to paraphrase a character from "Fools Rush In").

Busy Day

We had a fun day - it was just a regular day . . . but those are the best.

First thing, Daniel went in to play with his trains. He spends a lot of time in the front room where we (I mean Uncle Eric!) created a huge layout with all his track.  He tells you all about the engines, and what the parts are, and sometimes that the are "bokken" - broken.  Those eyelashes...heartbreaker-to-be.

Eli & Henry were over for the day - and as entertaining as always.  This is what Eli does when you say "Smile!"

Eva did not have any smiles for the camera today - though she wasn't really unhappy in general . . . just didn't have her "posing" pants on today, I guess!

After watching Eva dress-up for the past 2 years, Daniel decided to join in the fun...

And what goes better with a yellow tutu and pink heels than a tiny green wheelbarrow?
Henry is the best baby - he crawls around and follows the big kids as much as he can!
We painted rocks today (this is the aftermath).  I told the kids they could be like Zoe's pet rock Rocco on Sesame Street.  So, Eli painted a baby elephant ...

Eva painted a baby bunny, and Daniel, of course, a"binny" like his sister.  I should have taken a picture of the rocks, as they were green, purple, and blue respectively . . . and did not include many distinguishing animal features!

Just hanging out, waiting for Aunt Cammie to push him in the swing!
The boys found sticks and immediately began shooting me, each other, and anything else in sight.  Daniel's shooting can get a little too realistic (note the stick is actually touching Eli's head).
Eva's amazing marker art work - don't you think she's destined to be a famous artist someday?
Chillin' in the tent we built behind the couch - this is no "roughing it" tent - it comes complete with a mini-DVD player, a down comforter, and a giant pink pony.

Life really doesn't get any better :)
